SOLD || Honda SL175 K1 Motorsport 1971 Poppy Yellow
This wonderful bike is mechanically excellent, everything works, starts first kick, idles and runs great. It has been completely freshened with brand new tires, new sealed battery, new headlight, new spark plugs, caps and coil, plug caps and air cleaner elements, fresh oil change, cleaned and adjusted carbs, and more.
It is a joy to ride with easy handling, low seat height, great maneuverability and a quick revving motor with great sound from the beautifully designed two-into-one pipes and upswept muffler.
I have owned a number of Honda SLs and have always loved the 175 with its distinctive exhaust system, stunning lines of its fenders and details like the seat trim snaps and stubby, aggressive stance. I recently acquired a mint condition Honda SL350 and have not been riding the 175 as much so I have decided to offer it for sale.
While mechanically excellent, as you see in the pictures, it is not cosmetically perfect. The frame has the usual nicks and marks and the tank and fenders have a few scrapes and bumps. The exhaust and muffler are solid with a small patch at the bottom of the muffler. With a repaint, the bike would be considered in very good condition. Or, just enjoy as is and ride it! Additionally, there is no title for this bike. I have the bill of sale from its previous owner and will provide a bill of sale for the new owner.
