SOLD // Honda SL350 K1 RED 1971
The SL350 is an all time favorite of mine. I have owned a number of SL Hondas (multiple 350s, a 175, and a couple 100s). I find the styling and proportions to be perfect on the 350 with the fat tires, stubby seat, iconic tank shape, front and rear light brackets and the beautiful down-swept exhaust and upswept mufflers. These amazing details are complemented by the simple, high impact graphics and gorgeous paint and colors.
This is an outstanding K1, beautifully restored and a great runner, even with Pod air filters & aftermarket mufflers(they are a bit loud). The repaint is gorgeous, though not an accurate original color, and the frame is a perfect-finish powder coat (also not original Honda silver). It has a Common-Motor electronic ignition & starts & runs like a champ. It has fresh Bridgestone Trail Wing tires and a new MotoBatt sealed battery..
The bike starts first kick and runs and rides like new. The 350 motor is delicious with easy revving power and a flat linear torque curve. It is one of the most popular motors in Honda’s history and is pretty much bullet proof.
