Triumph T100 Daytona 500 Dark Cherry & Ice White 1972
Immaculate, beautifully restored and re-painted (best paint job I have ever seen). Mechanically excellent - everything works, starts first kick and does not leak oil (and yes, it does have oil!). New wiring, Boyer ignition, stainless steel spokes, carbs cleaned and balanced. Tires are very good. This is a joy to ride - remember it is right side shift and kickstart only.
The Triumph Daytona was named because of Triumph’s success at the Daytona 200, winning the race in 1966 and again in 1967. The Daytona had twin Amal concentric carburetors, higher compression and a wilder set of cams than the standard 500s.
I have owned a number of 650 Bonnevilles and have come to prefer the 500 Daytona with its quicker revving motor, lighter weight and more nimble handling.
