The BSA Lightning 650 has been one of my all-time favorite motorcycles for more than 50 years.  Arguably the most distinctive design of the era with brilliant chrome matched with vivid red paint, one of the most beautiful tank badges in the history of motorcycling and a beautiful shape to the seat that flows into the chrome grab rail.

This matching numbers bike is in remarkable condition with fresh Chen Shin CS Marquis tires, bright paint, excellent chrome and black frame with very few nicks.  While there is some patina, the bike shows brightly and beautifully.

I acquired it earlier this year and it has been one of my daily riders this summer.  It is mechanically excellent, starts first kick, idles, revs, shifts and brakes better than any 53 year old British motorcycle I have ever ridden. This bikes needs nothing, it is ready to ride and enjoy today.
