sold || Honda SL350 K1 1971 Candy Topaz Orange
The SL350 is an all time favorite of mine. I have owned a number of SL Hondas (multiple 350s, a 175, and a couple 100s). I find the styling and proportions to be perfect on the 350 with the fat tires, stubby seat, iconic tank shape, front and rear light brackets and the beautiful down-swept exhaust and upswept mufflers. These amazing details are complemented by the simple, high impact graphics and gorgeous paint and colors, the Candy Topaz Orange being the most rare and sought after of the K1 series.
This bike is a low milage, mostly original, lightly restored example and is as nice of one as I’ve ever seen. The tank / fenders / side covers and headlight bucket have been repainted, are flawless and perfectly matched. Everything is OEM and minty fresh with the exception of the highly desired rear shocks upgrade to a set of Red Wings. It has new cables and handgrips, the factory mufflers are in beautiful condition and the tires are nearly new.
The bike starts first kick and runs and rides like new. The 350 motor is delicious with easy revving power and a flat linear torque curve. It is one of the most popular motors in Honda’s history and is pretty much bullet proof.
