Harley-Davidson softail circa 1966 chopper
I acquired this bike in 2006, almost new, when I moved to Ashland, Oregon to head up marketing for Brammo, the electric motorcycle company. I needed to buy a car and was heading to the Mercedes dealership during lunch to look at a CLK but pulled into the Harley dealership on my way and ended up buying it on the spot. Since that time this bike and I have lived in three different states been to Sturgis a half-dozen times, toured through about twenty states. It has been my near daily rider all that time.
My vision for this bike was a mid-sixties chopper, based off an FLH Shovelhead, completely stripped down with as many period correct looking details as possible. No expense has been spared on maintenance or upgrades. The motor is all stock and had the updated S&S cam bearings kit installed at 30,000 miles.
