SOLD // Honda Z50 Mini Trail 1968 Red

This beautifully restored Honda Z50 Mini Trail made an ever lasting impact on the American motorcycle market. The Z50A-KO came to the U.S. in 1968 as an upgraded model from the Japan market Z50M (Monkey Bike) with front suspension and bigger wheels on the same basic hard tail frame.

The refined and durable 4-stroke engine and 3-speed automatic transmission, brilliant paint and already legendary Honda quality blew up the mini bike segment that was mostly bent tube frames with primitive lawn mower engines.

This particular bike was acquired in western Michigan. It had been completely restored many years ago and stored indoors. As far as I know it has not been run since the restoration and is ideal for a display bike. The only weakness was the original seat assembly - which I replaced with a brand new OEM Honda seat.

Engine: 49cc four stroke

Transmission: 3-speed automatic

Electrical: no battery (from factory)

Price: $7900 or best offer
