The CT70 / Trail 70 was Honda’s follow up to their incredibly popular Z50 Mini Trail, which solidified Honda’s commitment to the booming mini-bike market in the U.S.
Like the Z50 Mini Trail the Trail 70 was extremely high quality with beautiful styling, tons of chrome, stunning colors and paintwork that still looks great today.
I have owned a number of CT70s from full nut and bolt restorations to all original nice ones and some in between. This candy sapphire blue bike is a good runner; starts 1st/2nd kick, idles, revs and runs through the gears really well. Brakes are adjusted both lights and the horn work (lights tend to run dim at first). The motor is in really clean condition, the wheels are excellent and the front brake hub is polished. The tires are cracked (but hold air) and the seat looks ok but is missing the tab so it doesn’t properly latch. Carburetor appears to almost new.
