SOLD || triumph scrambler 900 2006 blue & white

According to the British version of Triumph’s literature, “the Triumph Scrambler 900 is the perfect all-terrain definition, ready for every surface and challenge.”  In my view, this bike is remarkable and may be the best city bike I’ve ever owned (of 100+ bikes so far).

I have been riding around my Logan Square neighborhood since spring and have been completely impressed.  The upright riding position, well positioned handlebars and foot pegs and that delicious throaty sound from the Triumph brand upgraded scrambler pipes make a statement that is Steve McQueen vintage cool.

This 2006 model has only 6500 miles, with gorgeous paint and factory pinstripe, presents as almost new.  There are some small spots of discoloration on the lower engine cases but otherwise the bike is immaculate.  The 900cc carburated, twin cylinder motor revs beautifully with plenty of low end torque for easy pulling away at stop lights.

In addition to the upgraded pipes it has a tidy rear fender eliminator kit (that really cleans up the rear end), custom aftermarket turn signals, bar end mirrors and a power commander tuner that keeps the bike running crisp with no sputtering or backfiring.  Cosmetically, the blacked out front fender, headlight and pipe guards are covered with an automotive-grade semi-gloss black wrap - easily removable if you prefer the white paint and chrome guards.  The bike comes with a new, unopened airbox eliminator kit and the original take off parts - all in excellent condition.

Price: $5,900 O.B.O.
