The SCR950 is a gorgeous blend of vintage, scrambler styling with modern engineering, featuring a potent 950 V-Twin engine, spoke wheels and high-design LED lighting that is completely unique to this bike. It’s style evokes dirt bikes and motocross machines from the 1970s when innovation in this market sector was booming (along with off-road bike sales).
I was smitten with this motorcycle the first time I laid eyes on it and it became true love when I had the chance to blast down some fire roads and hard packed trails in the hills of central California back in 2016.
I have been riding this bike around Chicago and find it an ideal steed for navigating urban traffic and roaring through bumpy intersections. It’s down low torque makes it great for pulling away first at stop lights and it rides super smooth on the highway.
With only 1800 miles this is basically a new machine. There are no imperfections and it looks like it did on the showroom floor - beautiful. It has had a fresh oil and filter change and has been upgraded with the outstanding Bridgestone Trail Wing tires.
