Yamaha JT1 Mini Enduro 60 Orange 1971
The Yamaha Mini Enduro and the movie On Any Sunday catapulted motorcycling into the American mainstream (relatively) and this bike made riding real dirt bikes accessible for kids. And, best of all, looked just like the big Yamaha Enduros.
Getting this bike was transformative for me as a young teenager in suburban Detroit and set the course for my life and love of motorcycles, decades later.
I purchased this at a Mecum Auction and am in the process of doing a full restoration on it.
